News 9's Movie Man Dino Lali previews four new movies hitting theatres Friday.
Two-time Oscar nominee M. Night Shyamalan's new film "Trap" hits theatres Friday. "Trap" stars Josh Hartnett and Saleka Shyamalan and follows a father and daughter attending a pop concert. While at the concerts they realize they are at the center of a dark and sinister event. When the father notices a heightened police presence at the venue, he's alerted that the concert was put together as a trap to catch a serial killer. This film is rated R.
"Kneecap" stars Michael Fassbender and is a raucous comedy biography about an Irish rap group. The film follows the emergence of a rap trio in post-troubles Belfast, setting the stage for the Irish language's resurgence against the establishment. this film is also rated R
"Firing Squad" is inspired by the real account of three Christian inmates. They are in a third-world nation, about to be executed but then their joy in Christ produces an amazing ending. This film is rated PG-13
"Harold and the Purple Crayon" is based on the Children's book by Crockett Johnson, of the same name. It follows four-year-old Harold who, with his purple crayon has the power to create a world of his own. This film is rated PG-13.
