A local organization has been helping those affected by the war in Ukraine for more than two years.
Jason Zan and Amy Campbell from the Never Alone Project joined News 9 on the Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch to talk more about their mission.
They said the Never Alone Project started with the goal to bring hot and nutritious meals to the communities in need and near the war.
"Front line areas or even orphanages, refugee shelters and anyone who's been affected by the war," Campbell said.
Zan and Campbell met while volunteering in Ukraine and work in partnership with Sooner Hope For Ukraine in Oklahoma City.
"It's a way that people can actually get involved here locally by joining them on their work days, whether it's packing first aid kits or joining them for Ukrainian art workshops or things like that," Zan said.
He also said you can support the cause by visiting the Contemporary Arts Center and seeing the Colors of Freedom exhibit, which showcases Ukrainian children's art, as well as the 1515 Lincoln Gallery’s Visions of Courage exhibit.
