Chickasha Community Invited To Honor Fallen Firefighter

The City of Chickasha is inviting the community to line the streets on Thursday to honor firefighter Michael Wise, who passed away unexpectedly while on vacation last month.

The Chickasha community is invited to honor the life of a fallen firefighter on Thursday.

Chickasha firefighter Michael Wise passed away unexpectedly in July while he was on vacation with his family in Jamaica.

His body is now back in the U.S. and will be escorted to a funeral home in Chickasha on Thursday afternoon.

If you'd like to honor Mike and the Wise family, you can line up along his route, which starts at Station 1 and continues down 17th Street to Ferguson Funeral Home.

The City of Chickasha said they will share the approximate time on their Facebook Page.
