Rocks Thrown Off Overpass: OHP Investigating Multiple Incidents Along Indian Nation Turnpike

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said it is investigating several incidents where rocks were thrown from overpasses on the Indian Nation Turnpike over the past month.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said it is investigating several incidents where rocks were thrown from overpasses on the Indian Nation Turnpike over the past month.

OHP said several motorists' windshields have been shattered. It has happened four times in the past month, with five vehicles hit in one incident.

OHP and the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority installed cameras and released photos of a suspect vehicle that appears to be a dark SUV.

this happened between mile markers 21 and 34, north of Antlers in Pushmataha County, OHP says.

The crime is a felony that is punishable by up to 10 years in prison with a fine of up to $10,000.
