Main Gas Line Break In Vian, Police Ask Residents To Avoid The Area

Vian Police are asking residents to avoid the area around Harps Food Stores due to a main gas line break on Wednesday.

Police said the break is in the northeast side of the Harps parking lot and McConnell Street from Highway 64 to Sequoyah are blocked off until the break is fixed.

Police shared the information on social media at 4:30 p.m.

Oklahoma Natural Gas will work to fix the break. It's unclear how long the area will be blocked off, or what caused the break.
