Former Muskogee Church Employee Pleads Guilty To 12 Counts Of Sexually Abusing Minors

A 19-year-old Muskogee man pleads guilty in federal court to 12 counts of sexually abusing minors.

Investigators said Jonathan Wiedel abused four children under 12 while he was a teacher's assistant at St. Joseph Catholic School in Muskogee.

The church said Wiedel worked with preschoolers through first grade and in aftercare services and was taken out of the school and church once the church learned of the allegations.

A judge will sentence him at a later date.
