QuikTrip Security Guard Shot In Foot During Altercation With Suspect

Authorities say a security officer is injured after being shot in the foot at a QuikTrip in Tulsa.

Police say this happened at the QuickTrip near South Denver Avenue and West 15th Street

Tulsa police say one of their officers stopped at the QuikTrip for a routine check when they heard a fight between the security officer and the suspect.

Officers say the suspect was able to get ahold of the security officer's gun and shot him in the foot.

The security officer was taken to the hospital to get treated.

The suspect's name has not been released at this time.
