Authorities in Mayes County are searching for the driver accused of a fatal hit-and-run crash on a juvenile male.
The Mayes County Sheriff's Office was notified about debris in the roadway at 4:35 a.m. Pryor Creek Police said they received two calls from drivers at 4:51 a.m. Sunday saying a bicycle and a person were seen on the southbound side of Highway 69, just south of 470 Road.
Officers at the scene found the victim's body who had been struck by a vehicle. They said the suspect vehicle left the scene southbound. Authorities are using the FLOCK camera system to assist in the suspect search.
The victim has not been identified, and no suspect photos have been released. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Pryor Creek Police Department at 918-825-1212.
