Traffic Alert: I-40 Closed In Del City, Narrowed In OKC Due To Crashes

Traffic Alert: All westbound I-40 lanes are closed in Del City due to a crash, ODOT said. I-40 is also narrowed in Oklahoma City at Eastern Avenue due to a separate crash.

Multiple crashes are impacting traffic along Interstate 40 in Oklahoma City and Del City on Sunday.

In OKC, the northbound I-35 off-ramp to eastbound I-40 is closed and I-40 is narrowed at Eastern Avenue due to a crash, according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

The delays could last several hours.

In Del City, all lanes of westbound I-40 are closed near Scott Street and Reno Avenue due to another crash.

ODOT said traffic there is being detoured to northbound I-35. Expect major delays in the area, authorities say.
