University of Tulsa graduate transfer kicker Seth Morgan was named the American Athletic Conference’s Co-Special Teams Player of the Week after his standout performance against Louisiana Tech.

He is the second Hurricane to earn this honor this season, following Kamdyn Benjamin.

In the 23-20 overtime victory, Morgan scored 11 points and successfully converted all three of his field goal attempts. He tied the game with a 45-yard kick in the final seconds, then sealed the win with a 34-yarder in overtime, despite a timeout attempt by Louisiana Tech to disrupt him.
