Big 12 Releases Women's Basketball Conference Schedule

The 2024-25 Big 12 women’s basketball schedule has been released, marking the first season with 16 members as Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah join, while Colorado returns.

Teams will compete in 18 conference games, playing three opponents home and away, and six teams exclusively at home or on the road. The schedule balances geography, historical performance, and coach feedback.

League play starts on Saturday, Dec. 21, and concludes on Sunday, March 2, followed by the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship in Kansas City.

Last season, the league had an impressive 8-0 record in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, with 15 of 16 teams finishing in the top 101 of the NET rankings. Four Big 12 teams rank in the top 16 of ESPN’s Way-Too-Early Top 25, the highest of any conference.
