Road Closures Planned During Jenks Homecoming Parade

Jenks Public Schools is celebrating Homecoming Week with a parade on October 4th at 5:30 p.m. Be aware of road closures and parking restrictions along the route.

JENKS, Okla. -

It's Homecoming Week for Jenks Public Schools and some roads will be closed for the Homecoming Parade.

The Homecoming Parade begins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, October 4th. School officials said the parade will move east on A Street between Date Street & 3rd Street.

Second Street from A Street to B Street, will also be closed.

JPS said that parking is available around the parade route on a first-come, first-serve basis. Lots by the Aquatic Center and north of Building 5 will be closed as Parade staging areas. Guests are asked to stay off of the street during the parade. All spectators should remain on the shoulder or the sidewalk for the duration of the Parade.
