Dogs in costumes will fill Mohawk Park on Saturday for the 14th annual Tulsa Dog Run. This 5K event serves as a fundraiser for an organization dedicated to supporting community members struggling with mental health.
Derek Frazier, communications director for the event, and his dog Freddie stopped by the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch to talk more about it.

The run has been held for 14 years, now rebranded as the Tulsa Dog Run for its second year. The event supports the By Your Side Patient Assistance Program, which offers essential resources such as food, clothing, transportation, and school supplies for families in need.
Participants can choose between running the 5K or taking part in a one-mile option, making it accessible for everyone. Each dog that attends will receive a pet participation medal.
