Tulsa's Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is making some big changes, including a name change and a new location.

Gradient, formerly known as 36°N (36 Degrees North), is moving to a new facility at 12 N. Cheyenne Avenue in the city’s Arts District. The Hub is being constructed in the historic OTASCO warehouse and is slated to open in December 2024.

The 112,000-square-foot space will consolidate Gradient’s three downtown Tulsa locations into one of the largest innovation hubs in the U.S. According to the organization, the facility will offer workspaces for teams of 1-50, event space, conference rooms, in-house capital providers, a state-certified incubator, and on-site dining options.

Tulsa’s designation as a tech hub by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration in October 2023 further boosted its reputation as a growing center for innovation. Gradient's leadership said the tech hub designation positions the region to receive up to $75 million in federal funding to continue fostering growth in key technology sectors.

They said that over the past five years, Gradient members have generated over $1.13 billion in economic impact in the Tulsa area. They expect the new facility to strengthen Tulsa’s position as a leader in innovation.

“We’re thrilled to open our doors and give the community a look into this beautiful space, but what excites us most is the potential it holds for shaping Tulsa's economic future,” said Devon Laney, President & CEO of Gradient. “This is more than a workspace—it's a launchpad for entrepreneurs, remote workers, and startups across the region.”

Gradient is now offering hard hat tours of its new facility. To arrange a tour, visit the Gradient website.
