Man Arrested After Leading BAPD On High-Speed Chase

A man was arrested after Broken Arrow Police say he led officers on a high-speed chase, after stealing hundreds of dollars in tools from a Lowes.

Police say they saw Lance Burks running from the store Sunday near 193rd East Avenue. After this, police say Burks led them on a chase through a field and onto Highway 51.

Police say Burks went as fast as 90 miles per hour. Officers say Burks crashed into other vehicles before an officer pinned his vehicle to stop the chase from escalating further.

Burks was arrested for endangering public safety while eluding police, and larceny of merchandise.
