As students enjoy their fall break, Tulsa's Discovery Lab presents an exciting opportunity for hands-on learning and fun. Several spots remain available for engaging lab activities, including a bottle rocket-making exercise.
During this activity, participants explore the principles of rocket propulsion. By combining fuel and oxygen with a spark, they create gas that propels the bottle in the opposite direction, mimicking rocket launches.
In addition to bottle rockets, Discovery Lab offers various camps, including a metal maker session where participants can learn about shaping and pouring metal. This diverse range of activities ensures a fulfilling experience for kids interested in science and creativity.
Parents can register their children for fall break camps by visiting DiscoveryLab.org/Camps.
