Cherokee Nation, Amazon Announce Film Collaboration In Oklahoma

The Cherokee Nation announced a new collaboration with Amazon to support film here in Oklahoma.

The tribe said it will help support the Cherokee Film Institute, a group of programs designed to make it easier for Cherokees to enter the entertainment industry and to encourage TV shows and movies to film on the Cherokee Reservation.

In addition to its own TV shows, Amazon also owns the storied MGM Studios.
