Tulsa Faces UAB Coming Off Improbable Comeback Victory

Games like last Saturday for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane can propel a team to much bigger things.

TU aims to start a winning streak against UAB this weekend after overcoming a 28-point halftime deficit against UTSA.

"I kept going around in the locker room saying, it's 0-0, let's keep going. We got a full second half, and the D line really sets the tone of that," said Vontroy Malone, TU defensive end.

Coach Kevin Wilson said the D-line is the strength of the team so far this season.

"They kind of got us going. They're kind of men of the team. They kind of pulled us through. And I say with that, you know, when you at least feel like no matter what happens, I'd love to see us play a complete game. I'd love to see us start the way we started a couple of games and then play the way we finished two weeks to play four quarters of football," Wilson said.
