Lightning Sparks Overnight Fire In Catoosa Home

Firefighters say lightning caused a house fire in Catoosa late last night.

The fire broke out around 11 p.m. while a family of three was preparing for bed. All family members safely escaped without injury.

Crews from Catoosa, Rolling Hills, and Oak Grove fire departments responded to contain the flames.

For now, the family is staying with relatives.
