The Oklahoma State House and Senate will look different next session, with 12 Senate seats and 32 House seats on district ballots across the state.
News On 6 political analyst Scott Mitchell highlighted that while many familiar faces will be gone, the biggest change will be in leadership.
"You’ll have a new pro tem, a new speaker, and new minority leadership in both houses," Mitchell said.
He noted that new Speaker Kyle Hilbert and new Pro Tem Lonnie Paxton from Tuttle will be guiding both chambers and likely addressing tax cuts as a primary issue.
