Man Arrested, Accused Of Domestic Abuse Following Standoff In Tulsa

A man is arrested and accused of domestic abuse following a brief standoff in Tulsa on Tuesday.

Tulsa Police said officers responded to a home near 31st and Utica Tuesday morning where a woman told them Matthew Moreland beat and strangled her.

Investigators said Moreland went back into the house, but was eventually arrested by officers.

Police said he is the suspect in an arson investigation in Tulsa and also has a felony warrant out of Arkansas.
