Youth Services of Tulsa is gearing up for its annual holiday program, "Gifts of Hope," which aims to bring cheer to around 500 clients and their families.
Through this initiative, youth collaborate with case managers to create personalized wish lists that include two essential items, one special wish, and a favorite snack. These lists are then shared with community members who choose to “adopt” one or more young people, helping fulfill their holiday wishes.

The program, which benefits Youth Services clients between ages 12 to 24 and their families, extends to clients’ children, as well as siblings under 18.
It seeks to make the season brighter for vulnerable youth in Tulsa, many of whom face challenges such as homelessness.
Currently, about 350 young people are on the Tulsa community-wide waitlist for housing, though the actual number is likely higher, as this figure doesn’t fully account for those couch-surfing or navigating uncertain living arrangements without direct support.

Community members looking to participate can visit yst.org/giftsofhope to donate or adopt a youth.
All cash contributions will go toward fulfilling each client’s wish list, providing much-needed assistance during the holidays.
