Rogers County prosecutors charged a 73-year-old Claremore man with terrorism and other charges after authorities say he made threatening statements to neighbors.

Claremore Police arrested Tommy "Rusty" Goodman last week after they say several neighbors reported that Goodman made statements about shooting and killing Trump supporters.

In August, Claremore police said Goodman threatened the employees of a Claremore bank and told them he would bring an AK-47 into the bank to get better help. Officers said that Goodman denied making that statement to police but told the responding officer that Donald Trump was a traitor and made a statement about "raising hell."

In the arrest affidavit, investigators detail several reports from neighbors that Goodman would threaten them over their support for Donald Trump. One neighbor reported that Goodman said Trump is a national threat, as are Trump supporters. Another neighbor reported that Goodman claimed to be on assignment to shoot and kill every person he saw wearing a red hat and that Jan. 6 was an insurrection day. That same neighbor described Goodman's statements as a plan to commit a shooting attack in Claremore if Trump won the presidential election.

In September, Claremore Police stopped Goodman while he was driving after he reportedly committed some traffic violations and was flying a Nazi flag from the bed of his truck. During an interview with police in October, Goodman told officers that he would drive around with a Nazi flag to see what kind of responses he would get. He claimed to have seen several people get out of their cars to salute. During that conversation with police, Goodman denied making any statements about shooting people on election day but said Trump was a traitor and compared him to Hitler.

Investigators said that Goodman owns "numerous" firearms and ammunition.

Goodman is facing charges of terrorism, terrorism hoax, possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony, and unlawful possession of drugs with intent to distribute. A judge ruled that Goodman be held without bond.
