5 Injured, Horse Killed In Tulsa Crash

Tulsa Police said five people are seriously hurt and a horse was killed after a vehicle crashed into the horse and its rider Saturday night.

Officers said it happened around 7 p.m. near 11th Street and South 145th East Ave.

Police said four people who were in the vehicle and the horse rider all were hospitalized.

"The injuries are of a grave nature. We're taking the investigation very serious and hoping for the best in this one," said Lt. Paul Madden with the the Tulsa Department.

Authorities are still investigating and there is no word yet if anyone will be ticketed.
