A Tulsa man says it's a miracle he's alive after a car crashed into the horse he was riding this past weekend.
Jose Sandoval says he was devastated to learn his horse was killed but wouldn't be able to tell his story without the horse.

Sandoval says he remembers riding his horse in Tulsa and seeing a car coming so fast it seemed like it came out of nowhere, and the next thing he remembers is waking up in the hospital.
He has been riding horses all his life, and he didn't stop when he moved to Tulsa from Mexico a year ago.
"I love making them dance and trail riding," Sandoval said.
On Saturday night Jose took his horse, Dear, on a ride near East 11th Street and South 145th East Avenue, when he said he was about to cross an intersection when he saw a car coming towards him, but he never thought it was going to hit him.
"It took me with the horse, it took me out I flew," said Sandoval.
Jose was knocked unconscious and doesn't remember what happened next.
The first thing he remembers is waking up in the hospital.
"I thought I was all broken," said Sandoval.
But he wasn't, when Jose found out he only suffered a broken arm and femur, he said it was a miracle.
One of the mothers of the teenagers inside the car said the driver was speeding, and Jose said he forgives the driver.
"I don't receive anything getting angry, I'd just be angry in vain," he said.
Jose has had one surgery, doctors told him he will need another one and could potentially need a third in the future. You can help Jose, HERE.
