Collinsville Reminds Residents What Can And Cannot Be Flushed Down Toilet

The City of Collinsville wants people to stop flushing items down the toilet that are clogging sewer lines.

The city shared images online saying even if a product says "flushable wipes" that does not mean it is safe to flush.

The city says toilet paper dissolves in water, the wipes can clump together and cause major blockages in pipes and septic tanks.
