A Tulsa woman is grieving after finding her daughter shot to death in her bedroom over the weekend. Arianna Doyle’s family said she was home alone when she was killed.
The Tulsa Police Department said it doesn’t know yet if the shooting was random or targeted. The shooting happened near Charles Page Boulevard and 41st West Avenue.
Taya Myers said she came home from her overnight shift as a nurse around 5 a.m. Sunday to find her daughter Arianna, dead in her bedroom.
The two had just spoken hours earlier on FaceTime, a conversation that she said was full of "I love yous" and plans for Thanksgiving.
Myers said Arianna was home alone Sunday morning and someone had shot through her bedroom window in the back of the house.
Myers said Arianna has a daughter, Amina, who will turn seven years old on Tuesday. Myers said the girl was with her dad over the weekend. Myers said Arianna was caring, loving, kind and funny and loved listening to music and enjoyed singing. But most of all she said Arianna loved spending time with her family.
Like her mother, Arianna worked in healthcare, as a CNA.
