The Tulsa Oilers is continuing its partnership with The Salvation Army to host the annual Teddy Toss, a holiday tradition that brings joy to children in need.
Fans attending the game on Friday, Nov. 29, are encouraged to bring new stuffed animals or toys to toss onto the ice after the Oilers score their first goal.
The event takes place at 7:05 p.m. as the Oilers face off against the Kansas City Mavericks at the BOK Center.
Now in its second decade, the Teddy Toss benefits The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program, which provides Christmas gifts to children from families facing financial hardships. The stuffed animals collected during the event are distributed to children throughout the Tulsa area, spreading holiday cheer and reinforcing the community’s spirit of giving.

The Salvation Army has been supporting Green Country families during the holiday season for over 100 years, ensuring that children in need experience the joy and hope of Christmas.
Through the Teddy Toss, the organization and the Oilers foster community engagement while making a tangible difference in the lives of local children.
The first 1,000 fans to arrive at the game will receive a free Oilers beanie, adding to the festive atmosphere of this special night. Fans unable to attend the game can still support the cause by donating toys or funds directly to The Salvation Army.
