Small Plane Misses Muskogee Runway, Strikes Display Jet; No Major Injuries Reported

Engine issues are being cited as the cause of a small plane crashed into a display at the Muskogee airport just after midnight.

According to records, the twin-engine Cessna plane was flying from Montana to Muskogee when it encountered engine problems and went down just short of the runway. As the plane was headed down it struck an old military jet that was on display at the airport.

Fortunately, all five people on board sustained only minor injuries.
