Only 45 votes separated Nash and Robins, with Nash earning 2,447 votes and Robins earning 2,402.

According to Edmond’s city charter, the top 2 vote-getters in February’s election advance to the April race, regardless of whether one of them received a majority vote. However, in this case, both received just more than 38 percent of the vote.

Robins is Edmond’s former Ward 1 councilman, who resigned from that seat to run for mayor. Nash, a finance professional, entered the race in November.

News 9 partnered with Nondoc in January 2025 to host all four candidates in a debate.

The Edmond mayoral race was the only contested city office this cycle, as Ward 3 and Ward 4 council seats were won unopposed.

Key issues in this race included fiscal responsibility after a bond package to fund infrastructure failed in 2024.
