WB I-40 conditions: Matt McCabe shows low visibility, strong winds

Road conditions along westbound I-40 have improved, though visibility remains a concern due to strong winds, according to News 9’s Matt McCabe.

McCabe, reporting west of El Reno, said the roadway itself is mostly clear, but blowing snow and lingering accidents from earlier in the day continue to pose hazards. Some semi-trucks have jackknifed or pulled off to the side of the road, while others are maintaining steady travel.

Drivers are urged to remain cautious, as conditions can change quickly. Authorities continue to advise against travel unless necessary.
