Our Pet of the Week is San Diego!
San Diego is a sweet 3-month-old, 13-pound mixed breed pup looking for his forever home.
Diego, as he’s affectionately called, loves romping around outside in any weather, playing chase with his siblings, and even attempting to conquer the kiddie slide. After all his adventures, he enjoys a long nap, cuddles, and some playtime with squeaky and chew toys. He’s also learning to walk on a leash and has discovered his love for car rides!
Diego will be at the OK Humane Adoption Center today at 7500 N. Western Ave. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion, stop by and meet him!

Spay & Neuter Services
Feb. 25 was World Spay Day. OK Humane says spaying and neutering can help reduce overcrowding in shelters, prevent unnecessary euthanasia, and decrease animal cruelty.
In 2024, the OK Humane Spay & Neuter Clinic performed 16,107 surgeries, with the Statewide Mobile Unit adding another 4,292.
They said beyond population control, spayed/neutered pets often show improved behavior, such as reduced aggression, less marking/spraying, and a lower tendency to roam. It can also decrease the risk of certain diseases and even increase lifespan.
