1 hit, killed by semi truck in Chickasha

One person is dead after they were hit by a semi-truck Wednesday afternoon in Chickasha, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP says the collision happened around 2 p.m. near Interstate 44 and Highway 81.

Troopers say the driver of the semi was not injured, but exactly what happened is under investigation.

The victim's name has not been released.
