Leedey, Oklahoma is currently under a recommended evacuation order due to the ongoing wildfire, per Dewey County Emergency Management.

Several shelter locations have been designated for residents seeking safety.

These shelters include:

  1. The Cheyenne Courthouse,
  2. Hammon High School Gym
  3. Cheyenne Arapaho Center in Woodward.

Residents are urged to evacuate promptly and follow safety instructions from local authorities.
