Emergency officials have issued new evacuation orders as wildfires continue to spread in Oklahoma County.

According to Oklahoma County EMS, residents in the area between Hiwassee Road and Choctaw Road, from Coffee Creek to Waterloo Road, should evacuate immediately due to the approaching fire threat.

Authorities urge residents to leave as soon as possible and follow all safety instructions from local emergency management.

Fire crews are actively working to contain the blaze as high winds and dry conditions fuel its rapid spread.

Residents should monitor local updates for further evacuation notices and shelter locations.
