Thunder Thursday: Hispanic Heritage Night

The Oklahoma City Thunder is celebrating Hispanic heritage and culture at their game on March 27. Thunder Team EMC Malcolm Tubbs said this will be an unforgettable game.

"On nights where we get to really highlight the culture and vibrancy of our city and the people that are in it, especially Hispanic culture in our city," Tubbs said. "It's going to be one to remember."

Tubbs said the event will have Hispanic-themed decor, the National Anthem will be played by OKC Philharmonic violinist Angelic Pereira, and artists will be presenting their work. At halftime, there will be performances highlighting Hispanic heritage.

"Everywhere you look, everywhere you go, there's going to be the culture there for you to embrace and partake in and capture," said Tubbs.
