1 in custody after Edmond gas station shooting

One person is in custody after a shooting Friday morning at a gas station in Edmond, according to police.

Investigators say someone inside a vehicle near North Portland Avenue and Northwest 10th Street in Oklahoma City began shooting at someone in another vehicle, which then fled.

Shortly after, the fleeing vehicle stopped at a gas station near North Pennsylvania Avenue and Northwest 122nd Street, where the person inside went into the station to tell a clerk they were being followed before leaving again.

Oklahoma City Police say both vehicles then left, and someone inside the pursuing vehicle began shooting at the fleeing vehicle once again, before arriving at a second gas station near South Kelly Avenue and West 33rd Street.

OCPD said it was there that the victim's vehicle wrecked, and the person inside the pursuing vehicle began shooting at the fleeing vehicle once more.

One person has been taken into custody.

No names have been released at this time.

It is unknown if there were any injuries.
