Pedestrian dead after being struck by an SUV in SW OKC

Police say that a pedestrian has died early Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle in southwest Oklahoma City.

According to police, the victim was struck by an SUV near South May Avenue and Southwest 51st Street.

Police say it is unclear if the person knew they had hit someone, and cannot confirm if this was a hit and run.
