The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a motorcycle driven by 40-year-old Grant L. Mullicane of Norman was traveling northbound on the Kilpatrick Turnpike near Southwest 15th Street when Mullicane attempted to maneuver through a curve to the right.

OHP said Mullicane deviated from the roadway and struck the end of a guard rail, causing him to be thrown from the motorcycle.

After being flung into the roadway, OHP says Mullicane was struck by two passing vehicles, a car and a semi-truck.

OHP said Mullicane was pronounced dead at the scene.
