Description

Using Pam as a non-stick method to remove cakes from pans often leaves a sticky residue. Sassy Mama recommends homemade cake release, a cost-effective alternative. You can use the product for Bundt pans with intricate designs, and holiday baking.


Ingredients

  • 1 block of Crisco
  • 1 Cup of canola oil
  • 1 Cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Mix: Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor for about 20 seconds
  2. Store: Place the mixed product in a mason jar for storage. Can last for months in the fridge, and can be stored in the freezer up to a year.
  3. Use: When baking, apply the mixture to the pan before baking. It works just like buttering and flouring a pan, but is more effective and easier.
