Authorities respond to northwest OKC house fire

A firefighter received minor injuries while responding to a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City, according to the OKC Fire Department.

OCFD says the fire happened near North McKinley Avenue and West Hefner Road.

OCFD says the firefighter injured was cut on the hand and was treated on scene.

Firefighters said when they arrived on the scene, there was a fire inside the garage of the home.

OCFD says smoke spread throughout the house.

Authorities say he fire is now under control.
