OKC Council gives nod to celebrate fair housing month

It has been a little over a week since the Oklahoma City Council approved a proclamation celebrating April as Fair Housing Month.

This is something supported by the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Association of Realtors (OKCMAR).

The purpose is to highlight the city council supporting the federal Fair Housing Act enacted in 1968, prohibiting discrimination by direct providers of housing.
