OKCPS seek input on naming new middle school

Oklahoma City Public Schools are reaching out to the community to help with naming a new middle school set to open in August 2026.

The new school will be located near Southeast 25th and High Road, according to the announcement.

The new location will take in certain students currently attending Capitol Hill and Wheeler Middle Schools, based on residence.

OKCPS is asking people with ideas for the new school's name to reach out on their new online survey.
