Hometown Heroes: Dillon Cooper

Our Hometown Hero this week is Dillon Cooper.

Cooper is being recognized for his work with children in need in his community in Wewoka.

In addition to his work with children, Cooper also holds self-improvement courses to help kids learn to better themselves.

Quail Creek Bank presented Cooper with a $500 check in appreciation of his service.

"I knew something needed to be done, but I knew nobody would probably want to take on the task," Cooper said. "So I just stepped forward and did it."
