Pet of the Week: Mac D.

Our Pet of the Week is Mac D.,

On today's Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch, Tevis Hillis speaks with Roshelle Anderson with the Oklahoma Humane Society who brought little mac with her.

Mac D. is a young guy who is full of energy and comes from a good foster home. He shares his space with other pets, and gets along with kids and other people.

"He's been greeting everyone with a wagging tail," Anderson said. "He is still a puppy, so he's still learning some things, as you can tell. He goes to the bathroom on a potty pad, so he's still learning to take that business outside, as I like to say. But he'll learn pretty quickly with just a consistent schedule."

Mac D. is available at the adoption center at 7500 N Western Avenue, and all available pets can be seen at their website.

Anderson was also excited to share a new event the OK Humane Society is cooking up: Poochela.

"It's our festival for dogs," she said. "It's going to be at Lower Scissortail Park, April 12th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. And we have some amazing sponsors this year."

The event will offer giveaways, merch and many activities for dogs and owners alike.
