R.E.S.P.E.C.T. brings Aretha Franklin's greatest hits to life at OCCC

A powerhouse tribute to the Queen of Soul is headed to Oklahoma City Community College on Friday night.

The OCCC Visual and Performing Arts Center is hosting R.E.S.P.E.C.T., a full-scale concert celebrating the music and legacy of Aretha Franklin, offering a feel-good experience packed with soul, style, and song.

This high-energy show will feature multiple performers portraying Aretha at different stages of her legendary career, complete with dynamic vocals, dazzling costumes, and timeless hits like “Think,” “Natural Woman,” and, of course, “Respect.”

Organizers say this show isn’t just for diehard fans — it’s for everyone.

While audiences can expect to see plenty of familiar faces from generations who grew up with Aretha, it’s also a family-friendly show, perfect for parents, kids, and grandkids to enjoy together.
