Ada police seek help in finding Mitchell Shults who escaped from the Pontotoc County Jail two days ago.

Sheriff's officials said the man who escaped is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Mitchell Shults didn't have to con anyone to escape from Pontotoc County Jail, he simply walked out Wednesday night as jailers supervised other inmates during an evening meal.

The surveillance video shows Shults taking off from the visitation room after meeting with his attorney.

Investigators believe Shults was last seen heading towards the Oklahoma City area riding a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle allegedly stolen from a dealership a mile away from the jail.

Shults is no stranger to breaking the law and now faces a possible life sentence for violating a drug court ruling. But with his escape from jail more charges are sure to follow.

Pontotoc Sheriff's said Shults will be facing three additional charges, one of those is arson for setting his mattress on fire earlier this week, escaping from custody and theft of a motorcycle.

Mitchell Shults is described as a white man, 6 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds. He has a tattoo of a swastika on his neck.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, call the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Department at 580-332-4169.
