Dinosaurs are roaring into Tulsa's Cox Business Convention Center over the weekend.
Dinosaur Adventure brings the prehistoric creatures to life.
"It is just fascinating to think that 65 million years ago we were sharing the same planet as these guys were living on," said dinosaur handler Joe Aholt.
The show features a dozen life-size dinosaurs that move and even roar. There are also baby dinosaurs like Spike that people can meet and take pictures with.
"Spike is a baby Ankylosaurus. He lived during the late Cretaceous period which means he would exist around the same time as a Triceratops and the T-Rex," said Aholt.
Fun facts about the dinosaurs can be found throughout the show.
Aholt said, "You can learn about their diet, when they lived, and the parts of the world that they lived in."
He said their goal is to make it as realistic as possible while also providing entertainment.
"We are going to have dinosaur rides, we are going to have bounce houses, we are going to have scooters, fossil digs, mining and panning for gemstones," Aholt added.
Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased online at DinosaurAdventure.com
Dinosaur Adventure is Saturday, Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
