Pastor Speaks Out About McLoud Teacher Charged With Child Porn

Kimberly Crain and her family have been active members of the Temple Baptist Church in Shawnee for more than 15 years.

"I am as shocked as I can be, this is not the Kim Crain that we've known," said her Pastor Mike Craig. Craig has been her pastor the entire time.

Crain was arrested on Thursday. She is accused of taking inappropriate pictures of her students. Prosecutors say they found evidence on her cell phone. Crain sits in jail on an one million dollar bond.

"It has broken my heart," said Craig. "We are praying for everyone we can pray for."

Even though Pastor Craig says all this has been devastating for him personally and for his congregation, the church is standing by Crain and her family. And that's what he told her when he visited her in jail Monday morning.

"We're praying, that's all we know to do" he said.

Pastor Craig says Crain never taught Sunday school or was in charge of any children at the church.
