Southern Spicy Cornbread Salad
1 pan cornbread, crumbled
1 bottle spicy ranch dressing
1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can garbanzo beans, drained
2 cups frozen corn, thawed
1 small green bell pepper, finely chopped
3 green onions, finely chopped
Cherry tomatoes, cut into 1/4
2 cups finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 heads romaine lettuce, chopped
In a large bowl layer in the following order: 1/2 of the cornbread, black beans, lettuce, corn, green peppers, 1/2 cheese, tomatoes, garbanzo beans and remaining cheese & cornbread.
Before serving pour the salad dressing over the top and toss together!
